I painted it van Gogh Fossil Paint Cashmere. I also used the van Gogh Paint Crackle, then I gave it a good and dirty distress...GIDDY CLAPPING...
I added the vintage image from Graphics Fairy....Hello, my fair lady!

I HAD to take it outdoors....

HONESTLY, it's SO beautiful!!!

Just A Little Mascara Trunk

Come to Mama.....YES, you already know I'm trunk addicted!
This one yelled to me from across the yard at a garage sale! Can you even believe people were walking past it?! It's just because it was waiting for me!

Hello Darling!

The only damage to the trunk was the spot on the top right.

The side.

I went back to my roots on this one....

I painted it van Gogh Fossil Paint Collection ~to die for~ Patina. I then dry brushed the edges and did this fabulously Elegant graphic from my FAVORITE site on thee planet, Graphics Fairy with van Gogh Mascara. All you need is a little Mascara ya know!

I painted the inside Marvellous van Gogh Muse...Hands Clapping!!

I used the van Gogh Moon Glaze over the hardware on this trunk to give it that added BLINGO!

And finally I added this Antique Image, again from Graphics Fairy. I placed it right over top of the water damaged area and now it looks as if this is a picture of the previous owner!!!
I know right?? HAPPY JIG!!

Here is the before & after pic together...

I feel like this screams AVA BLAKE CREATIONS, so romantic and elegant!
I hope you enjoyed this one!

Can You van Gogh Fossil/Chalk Paint Collection, Paint A Chair? YES You Can!

Did you know you can paint pretty much ANYTHING with van Gogh Fossil Paint Collection? There isn't much I haven't tried!

Here is a perfect chair I thought I would try painting the fabric on......whats the worst that can happen?!

I actually bought some fabric spray when I was down in the states....the can says it covers more then it actually does.....it works amazingly but I ran out before I could finish the chair!

Well why not try to van Gogh Fossil Paint Collection it?
YES I did...

Before I even put thought into it I had already started painting it!
Straight up van Gogh Fossil painted it! I didn't even water it down!

I painted it van Gogh Fossil Paint, Coral Is The Moral. Crazy Beautiful I know!
I then put a stencil on the seat with Mascara Black.

It turned out AMAZING! It's not soft to touch but certainly works for a decorative entrance chair!

I also added a Coral Is The Moral stencil on the back.
I painted the outside of the chair van Gogh Fossil Paint  Patina!

BAMM!
Seriously Dazzling!

SO FANTASTIC that I used it in a photo shoot...

I painted each of the plaques with van Gogh Fossil Paint.
I then tissue paper transferred the Vintage Lady images onto the wood.
The images are from Graphics Fairy.

I distressed each image to make them feel older!

I then added some vintage jewelery and embellishments to each piece.

 Oh So Beautiful I say!!

These ladies would look stunning in a grouping on the wall or standing alone on a dresser top!

Plain Jane To Black Betty Bench

Hello Everyone! THANK you for tuning in to my blog!

Here is a quick little makeover....I scooped this sweet find off of my local swap/buy website

This is what I envisioned in my mind as soon as I saw this Bench!
~click image to see it larger~

I recovered the seat in this vintage typewriter key stamped burlap.
It's SO cool!

I'm in LOVE with the van Gogh Fossil Paint Revenge Black, it's the PERFECT fit for this bench! I then heavily distressed right back to the original white covered it with the French Caffeine Beeswax to make the white just a shade brownish to tie in with the seat!

THANKS for visiting!
Keep on Keeping On <3

1940's School Locker Makeover...

These MAGNIFICENT 1940's school lockers came across my local Kijiji and ~Cart wheels~ were brought home to me!! Can you even stand the excitement!!??!!

The story goes...These were the original school lockers in Nobleford Alberta in circa 1940's. Once the school upgraded these lockers went to the local curling club, and after years of service they then retired to Kijiji. The fellow I got them from said he wanted them in his basement but they just didn't work out......then fatefully came to me!
I got 3 sets of 3, so 9 in total.

I van Gogh Fossil Painted them Chalk White, then dirty distressed them back to the original color, as if they have been through years of wear & tear!
Then I used this Clothing House Ad from The Graphics Fairy.
Crazy Cool right?!

I thought it was a perfect fit being as I was going to use these lockers in my entrance way!

Here is the before & after picture together..

I have two more sets to makeover....stay tuned!

THANK YOU for tuning in!
