LOVE-ly Trunk

This is a throwback to a few years my pre-Fossil/Chalk Paint days!

I did this little vintage cabinet in 2011 CLICK HERE TO SEE THE POST. I thought it would be SO beautiful to have a little piece that had the words "Love Is In The Air" on it, say, in the corner of your living room.... What a great reminder AND what a great conversation starter!

This brings me to a trunk that I currently have....

The inside is in mint condition....

Royal Painted Chairs

Good Day!
If you haven't seen my post on chalk painted with Fossil Paint fabric on a chair, here is the link to it Click Here
I'm doing it again.....this time with much more FRENCH to it!

Ok....last time I was curious about painting fabric so I just straight up painted it, with no research at all! This time I watered down the Fossil paint to see if it made a difference at all.

These chairs were given to me by a friend, and I actually greeted them with a hug!! THANKS Jody!
Just look at the detail, and condition......WHOOP WHOOP!

1891 Bicycle Ad Headboard And Bedroom Re-Do!

Hello Hello Everyone,
As you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE.....LOVE graphics!
I had an extra canvas lying around, as I used it for my master bedroom headboard in my previous house. It measures 5 feet wide by 4 feet tall, perfect for what I was thinking!

My little guy is 8 years old now, kind of outgrown the kiddie room but definitely still wants a cool room. He is pretty easy going, he loves his Transformers and Lego's and plays Hockey and Dirt Bike Races. We moved into our new house this past October and he wanted a new room style.

His room before.......

German Book Pages Cabinet

I kinda have a weakness for Metal/Industrial things!!
I found this plain 'ol filing cabinet on a local swap/buy site.

I wanted it to be a TV stand....

1940's Flapper Girl Wardrobe

Sometimes certain pieces find you.....I mean me!
I try not to go on Kijiji to often or I can easily turn into a bit of a hoarder! One fine day I was scrolling through to see if any piece would call me name, when suddenly I heard "JENNY, I've Been Waiting For You, Come And Get Me!" and low and behold I saw this STUNNING 1940's wardrobe.
With an excited GASP, I responded to the ad....It had over 700 views on it and the lady said I would be the 6th to view it.....I'm betting it will be gone by the time I get there.

I heard it was waiting for me!!!
It was in perfect condition, minus one hairline crack in the door...PFFT, no problem there.
I was going to be the 2nd owner aside from the woman's family!!!! WHAT??? Her grandmother owned it, who then passed it to her mother,  then it came to this woman, who says "it's been sitting here, I don't know what to do with it!"
Even the mirror is perfect! I can tell this piece was loved!
My knees weakened a bit.....
