Waterfall Buffet To Liquor/Entertaining Cabinet

Hello Hello! It has been a while since I last blogged! EEEK!
You know that I've certainly been busy though!!

I scooped up a circa 1920 Waterfall Buffet, really a plain piece.  THIS is my only before pic...DARN you excitement for making me forget to take a before pic!
Crazy hardware hey?!

This pic is the closest style I could find but not the original of my piece! Mine was WAY more plain and yellow-ish.

You know I'm a blue lover right? When I get bored of blue I mix varying shades of blue to paint with! I can't help it...hashtag true story!
I chalk painted this one with van Gogh Fossil Paint in Cashmere Cream outside and Bliss Blue on the front.....SWOON...
I gave it some time worn distress and sealed it with dark and light wax.
I wanted this piece to look like it came over from France and sat in someones Canadian home for a lifetime then came to me!

The graphic is from The Graphics Fairy Website. It is a vintage French Wine Label. GAWD I do love those french fonts!
I also changed ALL the hardware on the piece.

I left the original wood inside....I usually do so you can see some of the before color!
This one also had the cutlery tray inside the top drawer. I recovered it with some tissue paper!

Here is a close up of the drawer

Here is another pic of the buffet with some made over lamps and one if my vintage windows!

This Stunner now sits in my dining room and is used as my liquor cabinet (C'mon we all have one!) and entertaining area!

What do you think?

Super Love for stopping by
Jenny
