Custom Antique Postcard Table and Chair Set

Hello Lovelies!

This has been thee most FUN custom job I've done in a long time!
My client approached me with an idea to do a custom vintage postcard on a table that she had in the family.
See what I did....

As you may, or may not know...I am a total sucker for vintage postcards! The fonts and the detailing...GAH...They make my knees weak!
I chalk painted the table with FAT Paint in Parchment Cream, then distressed it ever so slightly back to Raven Black.
I free hand drew on the postcard. I just LOVE re-creating vintage fonts, the side ways angle and shakiness of old handwriting gives me giddy goosebumps!

I painted the chair in FAT Parchment and also painted the post mark on it.

Isn't it just the sweetest?!
The table came with her from Nova Scotia to Calgary Alberta, on the bottom of the table drawer was a handwritten note stating it came from The Bay Of Fundy, most likely off a navy ship. My client decided what she wanted the message to say. She was VERY HAPPY to receive the finished piece and that makes me SUPER HAPPY!

Here is the before and after picture together for your Pinterest Boards.

THANK YOU for tuning in.
