Hello Hello,
OK! It's all about connections in this world, and lucky for me my cousin had one! I had the opportunity to go through a 1930's farm house that was going to be torn down! No one had lived in the house for 20+ years.
Can I tell you that I couldn't sleep for 2 days prior, due to excitement!! For real!!
Now, bare with me, this post is a long one but I wanted to make sure I shared everything with you!

The Inside

The ladder on the wall leading up to the attic, or should I say, leading up to the Treasure Chest!
The colorful, now Vintage Rainbow Wallpaper and Scandia Felt.
Here are the things I took away from the house!
This looked like a Neat Jar. I looked it up on the Internet when I got home and it's a Glass Butter Churn, made by Blow Churn Co, England in 1940! WOWZA how cool is that, they are selling on Ebay for $100-400!
I scooped these drawers out of the Bathroom Cabinet, I can't wait to create something with these!
The glass on the left side of the drawers was an old Lamp Bottom but we didn't find the top of the lamp! I also grabbed the cabinet doors that match these drawers, not shown.
This was in the attic as well, and silly me I didn't take it home! It's a very Antique Stove! I was thinking it would make a nice plant stand! Maybe I'll go back and grab it!
OK! This BEAUTY was in the attic, again I thought it was a cool bed, although I knew it was Cast Iron because I could barely lift the foot board into the truck, it was that heavy!
I looked it up when I got home and it's a Cast Iron bed from Europe made ONLY from 1900-1919!! WHAT?? How amazing is that? So I sent a picture to a Canadian place in Ontario that restores these beds and the guy I talked to said that the style is a rare piece!!! I'm not sure if I'll get it restored or sell it yet!
I did manage to grab about 5 Vintage Windows and some Cabinet Doors.
OK, just when you were in awe of all the Antique things I found, here is the mother load!!!
These 3 spoons were in the attic as well. They look hand pounded, but have a little Crown with a Flower Stamp on the inside, as if a Company Logo! Hmmm, neat!
I get home and look them up for a week on the Internet, they were hard to find! and KAPOW, these Beauties are from Europe and were made in 17th to Early 18th Century! SAY WHAT!!!?? Oh My Goodness be still my beating heart!! I'm still trying to find more info on them, I'll keep you posted!
Stay tuned to see what I create from these wonderful pieces!
super love,
Jenny

CREATION #1
Hello Ava Blakers, I'm all settled
into the new house and Summer is in full swing. Finally I'm getting out
this series of posts revealing the Creations I've made from the 1930's
house that I got to go through before it gets demolished out in Scandia
Alberta Canada. See the all the details in the earlier post.
A great big gratitude hug to my cousin and his girlfriend for letting me go through the house!
I instantly saw the potential in these cupboard doors when I grabbed them from the 1930's House in Scandia Alberta, Canada...or, I mean pointed while jumping up and down at my husband to get the screwdriver and pull them off of the bathroom cabinet ASAP!

Here are my Creations...
This is the left side door. I printed, on tissue paper, a Vintage Music Sheet from my trusted Graphics Fairy,
and glued it on the door with Mod Podge, then I printed off the
Vintage Bird with Lilacs and layered it over top of the music sheet, and
I hand painted the postage stamp on it. I gave it some of my Shabby
Style and WOW what a Wondrous Creation!
And the right side door...
I used the same technique as above, but with a different Vintage Bird and Vintage French Label on this one. Brilliant!
Here is my Artsy Fartsy Picture of the 1930's Bathroom Cabinet Doors, Recreated
A little closer
I
found a dingy, beat up, 81 year old pair of bathroom cabinet doors,
what I saw was a Unique, Full of Character, Gorgeous, piece of Art!
Tune in on Thursday as I reveal Creation part 2 from the Scandia House!
Much Gratitude for tuning in,
Jenny

CREATION #2
I also scooped up these windows from the 1930's ~about to be demolished~ home in Scandia Alberta Canada.
And just when you think I might have run out of Vintage Window ideas....nope.....Here is another one!
I painted the window Heirloom White, I also sprayed some twigs, and yes, random out of the yard twigs the same Heirloom White! I then hot glued them into the Vintage Window Frame. I printed some Vintage Images from my Favorite Graphics Fairy Website and hung them on the branches from Black Ribbon.
What a great way to decorate seasonally!

Here it is on my fireplace Mantle. This Creation is SO Eye Catching and Magical, the pictures do not do it justice at all.
Here it is hanging on the wall in a grouping! You can place it anywhere and it will get the conversations going!
The first Creation found a home so quickly that, I HAD to Create another one!
I
painted this one Aqua Blue, and painted the Branch Glossy White, the
contrast is so Enchanting! I hung small glass crystals from random
branch pieces. Again this could be decorated seasonally.
Tune in again on Monday for Part 3 of the Scandia House Creations!
Super Gratitude for Tuning In!

CREATION #3
Along with the 1930's Bathroom
Cabinet Doors from the ~about to be demolished~ house in Scandia Alberta
Canada, I scooped up the Drawers from the Cabinet. ~Double Jumping in
the air~
Here are my Creations....
I
painted all 3 drawers Aegean Blue. I picked 3 Vintage Paris
Architectural Pictures from Thee Best Vintage Website on the planet, Graphics Fairy,
and printed them in Black and White on tissue paper and glued them to
the drawers. I added some steel wire on the back of the drawers so they
can be hung on the wall. Plus some of my Shabby Style = Breathtaking!
SERIOUSLY...the contrast between the Black and the Blue is remarkable!
Then, the added bonus of my Shabby Style...I hugged each piece!
I also decorated them up with some of my personal accessories, the Sky Is The Limit!
Here are my Artsy Fartsy Pictures of them...
AHHH the journey these 81year old drawers have had, only to be Recreated and loved for the next 81 years!
I've got one creation left. Stay tuned!
Super Love
Jenny
CREATION #4
Here is my final~~at this moment in time~~Creation from the 1930's Scandia House.
I
found a box of China in the house. Most pieces were broken and it was
not a complete set. The only tea cup and the gravy boat are in this
picture.
I also found,
what I initially thought was a pencil sharpener....and upon looking it
up on the Internet and finding out it is a Vintage European Butter
Churn, and in working condition!
I
soaked the China in water to get the cardboard box to actually remove
itself from the dishes, then cleaned them with Bleach to make sure I
could touch them!
I glued
the Plate, Saucer and Tea Cup together to Create this little stand.
These Vintage renewed stands are all the rave right now.
Outside shot
Indoor shot.
The Butter Churn is so cool that I decided to just clean it up and display it on a ledge above my Kitchen.
A little closer view!
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I've Created from These minimum 81 year old pieces!
Thanks you so much for tuning in!
Until next time.
Jenny
